Building a site is an awful lot like building a business. You typically start from nothing and lovingly build up from there. But you shouldn’t just let anyone build one for you. I have experience in building websites that your customers will both enjoy and use.
I start with the basics, determining what you need and what your audience would want as well. From there I determine the number of pages and produce a sitemap, showing the pages and their relations to each other. After that, I start designing with what are called wireframes. These images will give you a rough idea of how the site will be laid out. From there, I go into the part of the design phase where I pick out colors, imagery and textures to fit your company. Once you’ve approved a design, I turn that design into a working website and vigorously test it, to make sure all of your audience can view it. Following that, I start the launch of your website and then it’s yours!
However, a website to maintain all on your own can be tough. Content can go stagnant, you may want new features and other things can come up. Do you have a plan for all of that? Most people don’t, that’s why I offer maintenance plans. Together, I determine how many hours you’ll need and for how many months you’ll need our help. During those months, I will do everything to help you learn your website and get to the point where you may nto even need us; but if you do need us, I’m still here.
